Under 15

Our Under 15s team is led by Mike, with support from Paul, working together to guide a strong and committed group of players. The focus at this stage is on continuing to develop each player both individually and as part of a cohesive team, building confidence, technical ability, and a deeper understanding of the game.

As players progress through this age group, training sessions are designed to challenge them further, helping to improve their decision-making, tactical awareness, and overall performance, while maintaining a positive and supportive environment where enjoyment remains a key priority.

The team plays its home fixtures on Sundays, with kick-off times varying depending on opposition and pitch availability. Matchdays provide valuable opportunities for players to apply what they have learned in training, competing in a structured and encouraging setting.

Training takes place every Thursday evening, with arrangements adjusted seasonally:

• April – October: 6:00pm – 7:15pm on the grass pitches at Colne Valley High School
• Winter months: 5:00pm – 6:00pm on the 4G pitch

These sessions are structured to support continued development, combining technical drills, tactical work, and game-based activities.

What to Bring

To ensure players are fully prepared and able to participate safely, they should bring:

• Football boots (or trainers for indoor sessions, if required)
• Shin pads (mandatory for all training and matches)
• Appropriate clothing suitable for the weather conditions
• A drink to stay hydrated
• Any necessary medication (e.g. inhalers), clearly labelled and easily accessible
