Under 11 Leopards

Our Under 11 Leopards are coached by James, Kyle, and James, who lead a dedicated and enthusiastic group of players. As the team continues to develop, there is a growing focus on building key areas such as fitness, passing, and positional play, helping players take the next step in their football journey.

At this stage, players are encouraged to expand their understanding of the game, improving their decision-making, teamwork, and awareness on the pitch. Training sessions are designed to be both challenging and enjoyable, ensuring that players continue to progress while maintaining a strong sense of confidence and enthusiasm.

The team competes in league fixtures, with home matches usually played on Sundays. Kick-off times can vary depending on opposition and pitch availability, and on occasion, fixtures may also be scheduled on Saturday mornings.

Training takes place every Thursday evening, with sessions adjusted throughout the year:

• April – October: 6:00pm – 7:00pm on the grass pitches at Colne Valley High School
• Winter months: 7:00pm – 8:00pm on the 4G pitch

Each session combines technical work, fitness, and game-based activities to help players continue developing in a supportive and structured environment.

What to Bring

Players should arrive fully prepared for all training sessions and matches with:

• Football boots (or trainers for indoor sessions, if required)
• Shin pads (mandatory for safety)
• Appropriate clothing suitable for the weather conditions
• A drink to stay hydrated
• Any required medication (e.g. inhalers), clearly labelled and easily accessible
