Under 14

The under 14's are coached by Will, Dave & Huz. We currently one team registered with the Huddersfield Junior Football League.

The team was established in June 2018, and we have 14 players signed on to play in league matches with 16 regularly attending training.

Thursday night training time is split between aerobic fitness, passing, dribbling, shooting and other training drills and then finished off with a match. The focus is very much on developing all players skills and confidence no matter what the ability with a team rather than individual ethos.

At each training session and match played, we consistently encourage and promote good sportsmanship; this is extremely important at a young age and we have a collective responsibility alongside players’ parents to ensure high standards of Respect are maintained. We have a straightforward approach and that is to provide a safe, positive environment in which to play the game and this is firmly underpinned by the Club’s Codes of Conduct.

Our league matches are played on Sunday mornings. 

Our team is very kindly sponsored by Triangle Bodyshop who have provided full playing kits for all players.

From April to September, we train outdoors on grass at Colne Valley High School on a Thursday night from 6.00pm – 7.15pm. During the winter months, we train at Colne Valley High School on the floodlit 4g pitches from 5.30pm – 6.30pm.
