Parents v Coaches

& Mums v Girls

We are delighted to announce that our coaches versus parents game will make a return this year and after suffering defeat in the last game, the caoches will be looking for revenge!  We are also pleased to announce a mums v girls game also which we hope is as popular.

KICK OFF: 10.30am (40 mins each way)

VENUE: Colne Valley High School Pitch 1 (internal school pitch)



COACHES V PARENTS


DATES: 2nd September 2023

KICK OFF: 2.00pm (40 mins each way)

VENUE: Colne Valley High School Pitch 1 (internal school pitch)


There will be a childrens fun run somewhere between 12.00 - 2.00pm. There will be a number of sessions provided by 5CORE on the 3G pitch throughout the day

Let the games begin!

Summer Camp

We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a summer football camp for boys and girls for a week during August.  The details for this are below:


DATES: 21-25 August 2023


TIMES: 9.30am - 3.30pm


VENUE: Colne Valley High School 3G Pitch


AGES: 7-10


COSTS: The costs for this will be as follows:


£12 per day or £50 for the full week (Signed on Linthwaite FC Players)

£15 per day or £60 for the full week (Non Linthwaite Players)

*There will be a sibling discount available


Please provide all children with a packed lunch and plenty of water!


All coaches will have a minimum of a full DBS check in place and there will be FA qualified coaches in attendance at all times.

AGM

We will be holding our AGM on Monday 12th June 2023 in the function room at Broad Oak Bowling Club staring at 8:00pm. Anybody can attend so please feel free to come up?


All Managers/Coaches are reminded of their mandatory attendance to agree and confirm possible changes for the coming season. The minutes from last years AGM will be emailed to all coaches in due course and will be available on request. Copies will also be available on the night.


The agenda for the evening will be:


1. Members present.

2. Apologies.

3. Minutes of last AGM.

4. Minutes of Huddersfield RCD AGM.

5. Treasurer’s report.

6. Secretary’s report.

7. Manager’s reports.

Vote of Thanks to Retiring Officers.

Election of Officers, Management Committee.

Matters Arising.

Any other business.

Presentation Day

We will be hosting our annual Presentation Day which will be held once again at the Broad Oak Bowling Club on Sunday 10th June 2023 starting at 11am


The day will run something along the lines of the following:


11.00 - Tots

11.30 - Under 8

12.00 - Under 7

12.30 - Under 9

13.00 - Under 10 Girls

13.30 - Under 11

14.00 - Under 12 Cougars

14.30 - Under 12 Jaguars

15.00 - Under 13

15.30 - Under 13 Girls

16.00 - Under 14

16.30 - Under 15 Girls


We will try to keep to the timings as best we can but there may be one or two age groups potentially running over a little.


There will be food available all day and also a raffle with a number of very good prizes!
